# Laura Eickhoff, LPN
**Laura Eickhoff, LPN** is the owner of Backcountry Herbal Apothecary and our friendly and helpful clinic administrative assistant. After years of working in conventional medicine as a labor and delivery nurse, Laura joined our team the summer of 2022. Her background in natural medicine started with her personal health journey and includes working with a start-up natural skin care company in Summit County. She first visited Colorado in 1996 on a hiking, canoeing, and mountain biking trip, then quickly fell in love with all our state has to offer and moved within three months.
She and her husband raised their daughter in Summit County, along with their fur babies Dexter the mountain dog and Stella the cat. In her spare time, Laura likes to melt glass to create beads, make jewelry, cook, and continue her study of herbs and natural medicine. Her knowledge, experience and expertise provide excellent customer care.
