Natural medicine for the whole family. Blending tradition and modern science.
Dr. Kim Nearpass and Dr. Justin Pollack share their private practice at the Mountain-River Naturopathic Clinic in Frisco. They are the first N.D. practice in Summit County to come from Department of Education accredited, 4-year graduate programs in naturopathic medicine. Both doctors have completed many hours of internships, and are well versed in restoring wellness with natural remedies: nutrition, herbs, classical homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and wellness counseling. They have been serving Summit County residents and visitors since 2003.
Naturopathic doctors (NDs) are the nation's leading experts in natural medicine and natural health care. In states where naturopathic medicine is regulated, naturopathic doctors serve as general practitioners for individuals and families.
Blending tradition & modern science. Naturopathic doctors work with the body's innate healing power in order to restore balance in their patient. We use conventional physical exam and laboratory diagnostics and employ the least invasive therapy appropriate for the situation - lessening dependence on pharmaceutical drugs. Our goal is to educate and empower patients to participate in their own health and healing.
We are thrilled to wellcome Noah Soble to our Wellness Space (He/Him), East Asian Medicine Practitioner "For the past decade, my interests have encompassed holistic and natural healthcare. My fascination with traditional medicines from around the world and the interdependency between humans and our natural environments are what drew me to studying East Asian Medicine and becoming an Acupuncturist. I graduated from the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine in August 2022 with a Master’s Degree in East Asian Medicine. Throughout graduate school, I developed my clinical and therapeutic skills as a student intern for three years. My goals as an Acupuncturist revolve around providing patient-based, accessible, and trauma-informed healthcare. My clinical interests involve, but are not limited to, orthopedic pain and internal medicine. All facets of medicine interest me. I am fascinated by the intricate digestive system and its importance in mental health, auto-immune disease, complex disease, and skin disease. I offer various East Asian Medicine modalities, such as acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Cupping, Gua Sha, and Tui-Na to regulate your body and mind and treat the root and branches of disease. My Philosophy and Passion: The knowledge within East Asian Medicine is enormous, and I am greatly privileged to study and practice a historical and beautifully intricate medicine. Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine focuses on the individual and their presenting symptoms. Therefore, I believe that people relate to health and respond to disease differently. My goal is to make people feel content in their bodies and minds while helping them find their unique states of health. East Asian Medicine has the language and conceptual layers for understanding the human body, health, and disease that are unique and solution oriented. I also offer free new patient 15-minute consultations, that you can book online, to see if we will be a good fit working together. Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting you soon!"
"The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease." ~ Thomas Edison
