More about Dr. Sara Hart ND, MSOM
Dr. Sara Hart has been providing holistic family healthcare since 2008, offering a combined approach of Naturopathic and Chinese medicine. She supports patients through acute and chronic health challenges utilizing the blend of western science and natural medicine to support the best outcomes in healthcare today.
Naturopathic medicine offers an approach to health that looks to address the root cause of illness to support optimal, long-term health. Patients’ experience with this approach to healthcare includes in-person treatment sessions to create immediate change in a person’s physiology, comprehensive treatment plans that include the most up to date testing for accurate diagnosis and prescriptions that include dietary advice, herbs and homeopathic remedies, nutritional supplements, exercise and daily life routines as well as integrative knowledge with pharmaceutical use. The goal for each patient is to create a plan that feels not only successful but also manageable in their daily life routines.
Dr. Hart has had extensive experience supporting patients healing autoimmune disease and chronic infection, understanding and managing cardiovascular disease, cancer of many varieties as well as hormone balance, digestive illnesses, metabolic diseases in patients of all ages. She is passionate about empowering individuals to better understand how to navigate their options in healthcare, especially parents caring for young children and those navigating mental and emotional health challenges. She originally worked as a primary care doctor through an insurance-based clinic in Portland, Oregon where she experienced a very diverse patient population and has since spent the past 13 years running her own clinic in Lyons, Colorado.
Healing is a journey that is as unique as each person. Naturopathic medicine provides an “outside of the box” approach to create truly individualized healthcare that provides people with a path to gain greater insight and understanding in their healthcare, supports personal empowerment and improved health and disease prevention year after year.
