Dr. Justin Pollack, ND

For nearly three decades in practice Dr. Justin Pollack has helped people with digestive issues, sensitivities and allergies, immune and inflammatory issues, chronic disease such as mold toxicity and Lyme, as well as endocrine, energy and mood imbalances. His favorite populations are:

  • Men who want natural cardiovascular disease prevention and may have put off checking their four horsemen (i.e. heart, prostate, colon, skin).
  • Families who want holistic primary care for their children's illnesses and wellness check-ups for their developmental milestones.

Dr. Pollack is a holistic ND who takes the time to listen and is responsive to patient communications. He utilizes evidence-based and functional testing to guide him to the root cause of illness whenever possible. He follows the Hippocratic maxim, first do no harm: removing obstacles to health such as toxicity, infection and allergy, thereby empowering the vis medicatrix naturae (intelligent self-healing ability of the body), utilizing the least invasive methods possible. That includes dietary and lifestyle therapies, and the least amount of herbal, nutrient, or blended supplements necessary. For patients who want an energetic approach to their allergies and sensitivities he implements a bio-energetic desensitization technique called BioSet.

Dr. Pollack is passionate about reconnecting each patient to their best life, supporting them in taking responsibility for their optimal well-being. His life work is focused on the health and wellness of people and the planet we share. He grew up in Oregon. After graduating high school with honors, completing his pre-med courses at the Evergreen State College, exploring the world of outdoor education, getting certified as an herbalist, and working as a healthcare volunteer in Central America, he returned to his long-term goal of being a naturopathic doctor.

He earned his Naturopathic Doctorate from Bastyr University in Seattle in 1999 with honors in the counseling department and completed an accredited residency in family practice at National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. Along with his work at the Mountain-River Naturopathic Clinic, he is a professor of undergraduate biological science and nutrition classes at Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge. He holds professional registration #50 as a naturopathic doctor in the State of Colorado.
