Here we list the cost of our various visits and how your health savings or insurance might be used. Learn what types of health conditions we treat and our clinic hours. ## What conditions are treated at Mountain-River Naturopathic Clinic? To summarize, we serve as primary care doctors who specialize in holistic health, especially when you are motivated to participate in your own wellness. We work with all manner of endocrine and hormonal imbalances (including diabetes II, thyroid and adrenal issues), digestive disorders, women's health concerns, cardiovascular health, chronic disease (including mold, infection and toxin induced), allergies, autoimmunity, mental-emotional issues, common pediatric concerns and well-child checks in children over two years of age. ## Does insurance cover my visit? Like car insurance that only pays for accidents, health insurance tends to cover major disease and emergencies, not health-care or disease prevention. Unless you’re lucky, you’re going to have to pay out of pocket for your car’s maintenance, oil changes and new tires. For better or worse, health care insurance has taken the same path. Unfortunately, unless you have exceptional insurance, it usually doesn’t cover wellness care or holistic treatments from naturopathic doctors in Colorado. In addition, we prefer to work with patients on our terms and time-line, without restraint, limitations or demands from insurance companies. However, we do provide a coded service summary which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. And, as much as possible, we do order blood testing through your health insurance. ## Does my personal or employer sponsored HSA/FSA (health/flex spending account) pay for my visit? Yes, 99.99% of the time so far we find these programs cover both office visits and lab testing. ## How much will a visit cost? Most of our services are coded in 15-minute increments and we charge $250/hour as a general rule. If you are seeing Dr. Nearpass for Abdominal Therapy or Reiki, the cost is $135 per session, $270 for an initial Abdominal Therapy appointment. **See also Appointment Types below.** ## Do you order labs? Yes, as registered health care providers in Colorado, we can draw blood for conventional blood testing, as well as order functional testing such as comprehensive hormone assessment, food sensitivities, digestive health analysis, heavy metal levels and SIBO breath tests. We can also order imaging including ultrasound, Coronary CT calcium scores, DEXA/bone density testing, Pap testing, Cologuard screening and mammograms. ## What are your hours? Our front desk is open Monday – Friday, 10:00 am - 5:30 pm. The front desk is closed daily, 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm, for lunch. The doctors see patients by appointment 8 am – 5 pm. ## What are your appointment types? - Comprehensive Initial Consultation or BioSET, scheduled for 2 hours: $495 - Acute Initial Consultation or Follow up or BioSET or pediatric visit, scheduled for 1 hour: $250 - Brief Follow up or Phone or Telehealth can be 45 minutes ($188), 30 minutes ($125), 15 minutes ($70) - Ear lavage: $60 - B12 IM injections: $20 - Pediatric school or sports physical: $110 - Arvigo Technique of Maya Abdominal Therapy: $135 per hour session - Reiki Therapy: $135 per hour session - Phlebotomy / venipuncture for labs: $30 - New patient Well-child check: $300 - Return patient Well-child check: $220 ## Do the doctors at Mountain-River Naturopathic Clinic see kids? Yes! We love working with teens and children two years of age and older. ## Do the doctors see patients remotely? We believe the best healthcare is delivered face-to-face, so the initial office visit must be in person at our clinic. Some follow up appointments may have a tele-health option. ## What Areas Do We Serve?
